Simple Man

Simple Man (I) I wish my voice could have joined in With the angels above on that evening so bright I would have announced your arrival on christmas night I wish I have been that star shining To let my rays fall on you And let it glow through and through To where you laid your head down to rest Chorus All I am is a simple man I don't have much that I can offer or keep All I have is this humble heart That I give as my offering All I am is a simple man I don't have much that I can offer or keep All I have is this humble heart That I give you as my offering (II) I wish I've been one the wise men To bring you a gift that's fulfilling a king I would have offered it humbly before your feet If I could have been the inn keeper I would have offered my Lord A better place to be born On that special day, Christmas morn
